Supervision

Professional supervision is essential, and should be empowering.
Whether you are new to practice, new to Aotearoa | New Zealand, or a sole practitioner in an emerging field, connecting with the right supervisor is incredibly helpful.
I have worked as both supervisor and mentor in previous roles, both in New Zealand and Australia. I'm one of those super enthusiastic people - both for my profession, and for fostering the confidence and skillsets of my fellow Occupational Therapists. One of my favourite ways to hold supervision is while walking in nature - promoting personal wellbeing alongside professional creativity.
Alongside embracing ePortfolio reviews, Competency and Ethical standards, professional supervision with Jacki can include:
onsite support: reviewing equipment, designing and delivering group programs, reflecting on and planning for complex cases
on-call advice outside of supervision time, video conferencing if meeting in person isn't convenient
time management and strategic action plans for busy caseloads
Conflict resolution skills to build confidence and more effective working relationships with management, colleagues, clients
